We have two very active Sea Scout troops with around 30 scouts in each. Both scout troops run from identical programs and combine together for all camps and most other activities which are in addition to the normal weekly program.

Children join Scouts at 10½ and leave at 14½ years old. Being Sea Scouts we naturally centre around activities on the water and we are also a Royal Navy recognised group in recognition of our high standards and achievements. This gives us access to Royal Navy resources several times a year including HMS Bristol berthed at Whale Island Portsmouth.

Scouts work for a number of challenge and proficiency badges with the ultimate achievement being the Chief Scouts Gold Award.

There are a number of camps throughout the year and the opportunity to try numerous activities such as sailing, kayaking, power boating, rowing,  climbing, camping, cycling,  archery, shooting,  cooking and hiking amongst many others. We also take part in several Chichester District scouting events in competition with other scout troops in the area each year.
